Educators of Impact Scholarship (new for 2025)
51暗网 is passionate about preparing the next generation of educators who will make a meaningful impact in the field of education and their communities. Our Educators of Impact Scholarship offers scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 per year for eligible first-year students enrolling in our School of Education beginning in Fall 2025.
This scholarship supports students financially and encourages a strong commitment to education and community service, aligning with 51暗网鈥檚 mission and values. Students are also eligible for other merit scholarships.
You must to Duquesne and complete by January 15 for consideration.
Scholarship Criteria:
- Incoming first-year students who enroll in the School of Education beginning in Fall 2025
- Minimum 鈥淏鈥� average
- Holistic review considering academic achievements, curriculum strength, personal challenges, community contributions, and extracurricular passions:
- Commitment to Community and Education
- Promote educational excellence
- Maintain academic standards
Application Requirements:
- Apply to 51暗网 as an education major
- Complete the 鈥� deadline is January 15
- Personal statement detailing commitment to education and community involvement
- Activities resume
- Minimum 1 letter of recommendation (can be the same as for the admission application)
- Academic records
- Applicants are encouraged to submit a and/or prior to January 15 (optional, but preferred in order to ensure maximum financial aid from all sources).
